Dаz
294/365 # Door angst
This is the exact same look my kids get if they're playing up and not going to sleep.
Can anyone tell me what this is all about? It's a progression of an idea I had last night. I don't know . . . I like it, but what does it say? Apart from 'that Daz, he's a bit of a grumpy twat isn't he?' Hmm. Who knows.
Anyway, I've been experimenting the last couple of nights. Last night and tonight taken my shots standing in the doorway of my bedroom. With the flash inside the room the light's contained and the dark backdrop behind me is in fact our hallway. It's black because [a] it's been dark when I've taken my last two shots and [b] the flash doesn't leak too much out of the doorway, and as I'm shooting synced to the flash (1/200, f8) I don't capture much else other than what's lit. Sadly, I'm finding it to be a lot of fun.
Strobist info: SB600 to camera left at 1/8 power, propped up on top of the wardrobe and bounced off the ceiling.
