This is me trying to . . . er . . . I dunno. I had an idea, it sort of evolved and turned into this.
S'good fun though eh? I had this thought, maybe when I've had a bit of a crap day at work it's better to try and take a photo that cheers me up instead of wallowing in my own self-pity and posting something all depressing like.
And this was fun to shoot and process, so job done! OK, the shadows aren't very flattering, but it's meant to look foreboding, and I think the shadows here bring the bodeing to the fore just right. S'all tongue in cheek remember?
Strobist info: SB600 centre frame at 1/8 power bounced off my hand. Shutter speed 1/200, aperture f10 to control the exposure. I did the lens flare in Photoshop (sorry).
