175/365 # Centre Parcs - Day 4
We're all feeling much better today, it was so good to get outside and go for a walk this morning. It did result in this lame-ass shot, which is a shame because up until now I really liked my holiday 365s.
Still, there's more important things to be doing than spending ages on an SP right? I went for a wander on my own this morning, we all walked down to the sports bar, the kids went to play in the play area so Lydia said I should get out there and get some shots in. So I did. But not many. I've been playing with my custom apertures a bit this week and wanted to get some shots using them but it didn't really happen. I got some from yesterday that I might post at the weekend, if I can get them to look arty enough ;-)
The biggest problem I've had this week (photography-related) is choosing which lens to use. I've mostly used my kit lens to make the most of the wide angle, but then I keep seeing things that would look so cool if I had the 50mm on and . . . well, you get the idea right? Still, it's been kinda nice to use the kit lens and not have to worry about the restrictions of the 50mm (though I still love that little lens of course). And I think I've taken some decent shots, which pleases me because it proves to myself that I don't need Photoshop to make my shots look half-decent. Course I've taken a lot of crap shots too, but compared to this time last year, when I'd just figured out how to get my old point-and-shoot to work, some of the stuff I've got is pretty cool. Apart from this shot ha ha!
