145/365 # It is COLD

Bit cold today eh?

I tried to get some outdoors ghetto lighting action tonight but my camera battery died after just one shot. So I had to wait two hours for the battery to recharge! It makes me edgy to have to wait to take my 365, it's like I worry that I won't get a shot in time y'know? Even though if it came down to it I could use the camera on my phone if I had to, I still worry I won't get anything and miss a day. It's very sad of me I know.

Anyway, I actually had like three ideas to play with tonight . . . two didn't work (the pre-planned ones, natch) so this is my damn-isn't-it-cold-I-know-I'll-stand-against-my-kitchen-wall-and-pretend-to-be-cold shot. Chuck a couple of layers of fake (Photoshop) snow on, give it the once over in Lightroom and job's a goodun. Except I wasn't pretending to be cold, I'd just come inside after spending five minutes in the back garden trying to get the outdoors ghetto lighting shot I mentioned earlier.

It's nice to post something a little more lighthearted than usual, I'm really nowhere near as moody as a lot of my shots suggest, it's just that . . . well, I prefer lookin' mean and moody in shots to gurning like a fool I suppose.

If you squint you can pretend that the kitchen wall is in fact a huge glacier. And not a kitchen wall at all. But you have to squint. Lots.

I apologise for the slightly disjointed commentary tonight, I think it must be to do with the change of routine taking my 365 (damn batteries), it's thrown me a bit. I'm a creature of habit.

Before I forget, I'd like to point you towards my mate Jon, who's on week four of his 52 Weeks project. Check out his Week 4 shot - I think it's really cool.

Brrrrrrr
