142/365 # Pirate's graveyard

You have to view this bigger - at this size it looks shit!

I took this when we went to Portland with our friends Dan and Amanda today. This is the pirate's graveyard at Church Ope. I had a great time walking around a part of Portland I've never explored and got some other shots, which I've also uploaded.

I'm not 100% happy with it but needs must, it ain't that bad (when you see it bigger) and at least the sky looks kinda funky.

Sort of in a rush today as we have a private gig tonight - we're playing at our drummer's mum's 50th birthday party. She doesn't know about it though so keep it under your hats till tomorrow at least ;-)

It's going to be fun, our drummer's parents are both really cool and have been to just about every gig we've done so it's nice to give something back to our (two) fans and play tonight. They like all the punk songs we play, and all the rock classics like Smoke on the Water, Paranoid and Enter Sandman.

As a very special treat we learnt Crazy Horses (yes, The Osmonds song) last weekend just for this gig and if it goes down well . . . it might make it into our set permanently. I secretly hope it does, as much as I love my heavy metal no one can deny that Crazy Horses is an awesome song!

Back to the plot - I'm gutted at how this shot looks at this size so please, please check it out using the big on black link below.

Definitely better this size
