114/365 # Getting some perspective

I've done nearly a whole week of B&W so I wanted to inject a bit of colour back into my 365.

This shot has been tweaked a bit in Lightroom but not too much - and there's a little bit of Photoshop in there to clone out some garden fence that was intruding in the frame.

Um . . . that's about it really! It's nothing mind blowing but I'm going through a phase of trying to get good photos without the need for (a) too much Photoshop or (b) too much post-processing full stop.

I'm trying to cut back on the amount of description too - for several reasons. It usually takes longer for me type up a description than it does to get the photo done, so instead of spending the evening with my family I'm sat here typing away.

I say way too much and I bet I bore the shit out of you!

And the focus of this project has shifted away from a documentry of the end of my twenties/start of my thirties and more about learning how to be a better photographer. With that being the case I'd rather the images spoke for themselves a bit more instead of me spending two hours typing a long stream of waffle.

So while this shot is nothing special, I'm pleased with it because I didn't have to do much to it to get it looking how I wanted it too.

And now I've got the evening free to watch either Anchorman or (and this is only because I've seen the first two) Pirates of the Caribbean 3!
