56/365 # Me, me, me, hand, me, me
Sorry but it's another clone shot tonight - I try hard not to repeat myself too often but the elements were against me tonight and this was the best I had.
Went out for a wander with my good buddy Disco~Stu this evening. He phoned me and said "You ready to get wet?", which turned out to be quite prophetic.
We went to Upwey tonight, a little place just outside Weymouth, it's kinda in the countryside but also near the main road, it's a pretty place with, as we found out, lots to shoot.
Soon as we got there we spent a good twenty minutes in one place taking loads of 365 shots (not sure what Stu's gonna post but it might involve goggles), We also found a little waterfall under a canopy of trees that I took about ten shots of - I'll upload the best one tomorrow hopefully.
Unfortunately that's where our photoshoot ended as the weather started turning nasty almost as soon as we stepped foot out of the car - we were lucky to get twenty minutes of dry-ish weather to shoot our 365s in. We spent the rest of the time walking and talking but the weather was too bad for us to risk getting the cameras out again.
I still had a blast though, after a tough week at work and with all that daft band business at the start of the week it was great to be outside in the fresh air and chatting away with Stu. Halfway through our travels the weather went mental and we got totally, completely soaked through, we were walking through fields in the pissing rain with our jeans sticking to us and our shoes squelching - it was hilarious! We're going to do the walk again in better weather because we spotted loads of stuff to shoot and also some great locations to go back to when Stu gets his new flash - should be fun!
When I got home I had to get nekkid in the porch before I stepped foot in the house I was that soaked! Makes me glad for frosted glass really, that could've been a shade embarassing. Lydia was torn between sympathy and bursting out laughing when I turned up looking like I'd been pissed on by a giraffe.
So today's shot - as I said earlier, it's another clone shot. I wasn't planning on repeating myself so quickly but this really was the best shot I got, the others just didn't give me that 365 feeling.
I took it in this little shack that I found where we started shooting, there was loads of crap on the floor so I had to move quick to get in the shack and navigate round the crap in time to get into position for each shot! You'd be surprised how quickly ten seconds evaporates when you're navigating through crap!
I kinda like it, I wish I'd thought a bit more about what I was going to do in each shot but it was a rush job because the rain was just starting to get going while I shot it. And the last shot on the right annoys me because it's not properly in the frame of the window - grrrrr!
I guess I could get away with the repetition by saying I've cropped it in a different way than I would normally, y'know, like a long rectangle? If I hadn't there would just have been loads of black which would've been boring!
