Eye of a child
This is a homage to an earlier 365 I did, this isn't me though - it's my son Joe.
He has the most amazing eyes, he gets it from his mum who also has gorgeous eyes. He sat really still while I took several shots really close up. This one was the best, he's looking right into the lens and using that really deep stare he has - it kinda makes me well up a bit looking at it, sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am to have my two boys. They've been really good since last weekend when I had to go all Hitler on them.
I used the shot as further practise using Lightroom - I processed the shot three times, layered them in Photoshop and tweaked the opacity to see if I could blend them. And I couldn't help doing a little bit of colour popping.
Check it out big and on black - actually I've just noticed it's quite grainy this big so maybe you'd better not ;-)
