29.05.2008 - Scientific Progress Goes Boink?
Me and Disco~Stu managed to find time to go out for a photoshoot last night - it's been a while, life getting in the way y'know! We had a grand old time despite the weather, which tried its best to put us off. We took a walk around the local industrial estate as the plan was to get some gritty, industrial-stylee shots.
My First Clone! It's not brilliant I'd be the first to admit, but I posted it because (a) it's my first effort and it's not awful and (b) there's going to be more and I'd like to chart the progress I make with this technique.
Stu revealed the secret to me, I'm a big fan of these type of shots and once I'd found out how to do it I had to give it a go. And check out the cooker - it's in the middle of an industrial estate for God's sake! I love out-of-place objects, hence the foreground shot of me looking at it quizzically.
If you're interested, the title is from my favourite ever cartoon strip Calvin & Hobbes by Bill Watterson. You can check out every strip here or view the cartoon it came from here, 10th cartoon from top.
