Salt and Steel
Inspired by a set of Disco~Stu's that I've just discovered, and because I just lurve macros, tonight's shots are all about negative space and getting as close to an object as the camera lens would allow.
This is our salt shaker, as previously seen here and here.
Used the usual A4 white paper for a background and my boy Joe's reading lamp for light. I think it came out OK, shame I didn't get the whole of the word 'steel' in sharp focus but I like the placement of the object and I seem to have got a sepia-like tone to the shot somehow (just don't ask me how).
