07> The things you see on holiday
I have a really bad habit of taking boring and/or bad photos, then fiddling around with them for hours in Lightroom and Photoshop waiting to stumble over an effect that makes them look less boring/bad/both. I've done it so much that it almost counts as a skill.
No such problems here though, as I managed to capture the exact moment that an alien scout ship descended upon our holiday location in the forests of Wiltshire, dispatched it's on-board, glowy landing lights and touched down.
The alien got out, looked around, shrugged (easy to do with 3 shoulders), muttered something that sounded like "nah, maybe in 10 more years", returned to his craft and disappeared into the sky in a cloud of alien rocket fuel.
I can only assume that the aliens are waiting for humans to finish each other off before claiming the Earth as their own.
Scary stuff, but at least I got an amazing, totally real, not-boring-before-I-changed-it photograph.
