A pair of Louis XV wall lights - France
A very fine pair of Louis XV appliques, adapted for electricity later. Both have slight differences in shape and detailing and all parts are marked with one up to four "J"s, one even bearing a number.
Fire gilt, height 39 cm., probably 19th century.
