Stephen Hawking Graffiti

Stephen Hawking was born on January 8, 1942, in Oxford and died on March 14, 2018, in Cambridge. He was a British theoretical physicist and cosmologist who became famous for his work on black holes and the origin of the universe. One of his most important ideas is that black holes emit radiation, now known as Hawking radiation. In the 1960s, he was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease ALS, which gradually left him almost completely paralyzed. Nevertheless, he continued his research at the University of Cambridge and held the prestigious Lucasian Chair of Mathematics for many years. As an author, he became world famous primarily for his book "A Brief History of Time", in which he explained complex questions about space and time in a way that was understandable even to people without a scientific background.
