Faded Glory : Plantation House Hotel, Bequia
A glimpse into the past tonight. The Plantation House Hotel held one of the best positions in the bay, right at the end of the walkway in Admiralty Bay and provided a taste of luxury with beach front bar and restaurant and garden cabana rooms.
Nowadays, its been left to ruin, with many of the cabanas being used by the locals and the jetty used by everyone to sit and watch the sunset.
A shame to see it go. I have many happt memories here of the Music Festival blasting out across the bay and an announcement coming over the PA that my yacht had slipped its moorings and was floating across the bay! Happy times.
