Hollow Himeji halls

So as soon as I uploaded this I noticed the lower half of a person I previously tried to edit out and his draping shadow was still in the shot. An embarrassing overlook on my behalf, I wasn't gonna wait to finish setting up the upload to fix that up. So I deleted the photo and fixed it.

Anyways, back to the shot

Before I said the interior of Himeji Castle wasn't that great or photogenic. I stand by that claim, but I realized when scrolling to look for my next photo that I did have this one decent shot. Barely anyone was in the frame and there were these beautifully placed lanterns up close. The reflections of light spilling across the polished floor neatly. The composition was just right.

I guess I rushed through editing cause I keep finding irregularities I don't like that I missed beforehand (even though I already said that above). One thing I couldn't fix was the rafters closer to the roof, believe me I didn't want to keep it dark, but it was too underexposed in the original shot so when I did bring brightness to it, there was noise beyond repair. So I have to leave that as is.
