Red stairway to Heaven
When I took this photo, I was struck by the quiet tension between two worlds, the silence of the rooftop and the endless buzz of the city below. The red staircase immediately caught my eye, slicing through the clean white facade like a bold thought in a moment of calm. It felt like a path not just upward, but inward, like it was leading to a space where the noise fades and clarity begins.
I framed it deliberately to let the vastness of the sky and the city breathe into the shot. That single, soft cloud hanging there felt like a quiet punctuation mark ,a pause, maybe even a question. Looking through the viewfinder, I felt a sense of balance: structure and freedom, simplicity and complexity, ascent and stillness. It was a moment that made me stop and I hoped, in capturing it, I could hold onto that feeling just a little longer.
