"Future, Past and Present" by Nomad Clans (Part 2)

The first part of this giant mural in Doncaster, that I showed a couple of weeks ago, depicted the towns association with horse racing. This section (although sadly not quite so easy to see or photograph because of street furniture and trees) depicts the manufacturing history. Behind me was the railway station and beyond that the Doncaster Railway works (also known as The Plant) of the London North Eastern Railway. The loco on the left is probably the most famous product of the plant "Flying Scotsman", the aircraft represents work production and the local RAF bases (RAF Doncaster and RAF Finningley).
