One of my collecting passions- strawberry forks!
You can see that I have collected many patterns. some of the oldest are the pierced or open cutwork. Some of the forks are acutally specific to silver patterns that go back to the late 1880's- and some there are no distinctive marks except to prove that they are sterling. My favorite ones have intitals or monograms- I like to imagine who was the owner before me and the story behind the little fork. The Victorians were great at devising all kinds of pieces that had very specific uses. I have collected many unusual serving pieces that I will add to this set soon.
