Bietencampagne

'Bietencampagne' means the period the sugar beets are transported from the fields to the sugar-factory.. It starts in September and currently ends in January.
There were 2 sugar-factories in Groningen were I live and I've been following the 'Bietencampagne' since I started taking photo's.
In the old days trucks with 'greedy boards', today tippers. One thing has not changed though: they're still getting dirty!
