The valley (spring)

A spring sunrise over the valley at the forest's edge. Overijssel, The Netherlands.

 

As the sun rose above the trees, its rays found the old oak tree and covered the valley in soft light. It would take a while yet until the day's warmth would reach the forest. Still, I was eager to follow the trail into the woodland.
