Argus A

by bergytone

This little camera is said to have put 35mm film shooting on the map. Leica had invented the 35mm size with its canister, but their cameras were too pricey for the average American. So Argus made a sturdy bakelite model with a reasonably good lens and sold a pile of them. There's really nothing to go wrong with them, they'll last forever and if you like using a full manual camera you can't go wrong.
