poetics of light- pinhole
This shot was taken with my modified brownie hawkeye pinhole box camera. It has a .4mm laser cut pinhole for an F stop of F/212.
Shot at the entrance to the Santa Fe History museum. A simply marvelous exhibit of pinhole photography was there. So I felt it appropriate to shoot a pinhole picture there. I was all prepared to take some pinhole shots inside the museum, but they told me photography was not allowed in this exhibit. It was probably a good thing as the lighting in the exhibit was very dim, and I would have had to expose for hours just to get an image.
The 8 second exposure was on an overcast day, just about to start raining. Everyone did their best to stay still. Film used was 120 size Ilford FP4 rerolled onto a 620 spool and self developed in Ilfosol3 1:14 dilution for 8 minutes.
