Mount Kernow
The Great Treverbyn Sky Tip - a huge mound of sand and byproducts of china clay mining, otherwise known as a conical tip. A local landmark and visible on the skyline in many pictures taken in the St. Austell area. Imerys installed the current metal Cornish flag a few years ago to replace the cloth efforts local people were placing up there (in hope that it would stop people climbing it - but as you can see from the path, it’s still a well-trodden route!).
