Belvedere Palace
Belverere means beautiful view, and the view from the Marble Hall is especially spectacular.
Look over the Baroque gardens, the mysterious sphinxes (which symbolized solving riddles and the finely educated mind of your host, Eugene), the Lower Palace, and the city. Left to right, find the green dome of St. Peter's Church, the spire (400 feet tall) of St. Stephen's Church (Eugene is buried), and much nearer, the black dome of the Silesian Church. - Rick Steves
