Campo Maior (5)
We were immediately captivated by Campo Maior. Particularly elegant streets, beautiful houses, and a very well-designed urban layout.
The castle area has been creatively renovated, and the interplay of light between the architectural volumes was impossible to resist.
The Monastery of the Immaculate Conception, in its original white and blue, transported us to other places.
As if all this wasn't enough, we also had the surprise of the Ouguela citadel (in another post).

Sentimo-nos imediatamente atraídos por Campo Maior. Ruas particularmente elegantes, casas bonitas e uma organização urbana muito bem conseguida.
A zona do castelo está requalificada de forma interessante e os jogos de luz entre os volumes arquitectónicos foram impossíveis de resistir.
O Mosteiro da Imaculada Conceição, na sua originalidade branca e azul, remeteu-nos para outras paragens.
Como se tudo isto não bastasse, ainda tivemos a surpresa da cidadela de Ouguela (noutro post).
