Aeromarine Passenger-Cargo Land Airplane (real project)
Many aircraft projects have been lost to history when the companies closed and the archives were either destroyed or lost. Sometimes, though, good surprises occur, such as the discovery of several early 1920s projects from Aeromarine. It is difficult to conceive now, but in those years, Aeromarine was a force to be reckoned with, having created in effect the first regular airline of the American continent, using modified Curtiss flying boats over several coastal routes all the way to South America. The original plan for this "Passenger-Cargo Land Airplane" was very poorly reproduced and unfit for publication. I therefore entirely recreated it digitally, trying to make the best of it, and subsequently colored it in a scheme that was consistent with other Aeromarine aircraft of the time. I also tried to stay as close as possible to the original layout and lettering.
