Identity

As soon as I saw that the theme ‘reflection’ was going to be one of the themes in the Flickr birthday challenge I knew this was the work I would submit. This is an image I made of my daughter who is transgender. The symbolism is not subtle. I’m so proud of how brave she is in a time and country where she is constantly being told that she can’t be herself.
