Vulture 5

Coming in hot and ready for takeoff!

Born in a Warbird Boneyard in the hot deserts of New Mexico, this plane was cobbled, screwed, nailed and glued together from the remains of many unfortunate derelict aircraft that now, at least partially, get to live their own renaissance.

Repairs have to be carried out frequently and the multitude of dents, scratches and patches are only part of this airborne testament to how far gap filler, glue and paint can get an aircraft.

However, that does not keep our brave pilot from taking to the air time and time again, even under the most unfavorable of conditions.

Start your engines, cause there ain’t no stopping her once she’s got going. … it’ll just take her two cans of starter spray and a lot of good will.

Built for the 2025 high-five-grand-prix on the DigiLug server, this build had quite a while to wait until finally making its way here onto my flickr page, but it made it here in the end. A second entry built for the same contest will be joining it shortly, so keep an eye out for that!
