Before Air Baltic became one of the main ACMI partners of Swiss, it was Tyrolean Airways/Austrian Airlines operating four Dash 8-402Qs in full Star Alliance livery. Included was OE-LGO, which was seen arriving on runway 14 on Swiss service SWR1197 from Nürnberg. The decals next to the door and below the large titles read 'Operated by Austrian Airlines on behalf of member carrier Swiss Intenational Air Lines'.
The Dash 8 was built for Augsburg Airlines in 2009 and operated on Lufthansa Regional routes until 2014, when it was acquired by Tyrolean, which were merged into Austrian in 2015. Swiss leased the aircraft from November 2014 to June 2021, when it was returned to Austrian, sold to a lessor and leased out to Shree Airlines in Nepal, with whom it is still active.
