Taken at a - on this day - busy Sonoma Air Attack Base, Tanker 94 with pilot in place and engines running being re-filled with fire retardant in under 20 minutes for another go on a nearby forest fire in Marin County.

 

The aircraft was delivered as S2F-1 to the US Navy in 1954, and after turbo conversion entered service with CALFIRE in 1990. It was retired in 2009 and deregistered.
