ASM geodesic dome
This dome was commissioned by the American Society for Metals as part of their world headquarters. It was built in 1958-59 and measures 274 feet in diameter and 103 feet in height. It is the "world's largest open air geodesic dome" and was never intended to be a covered structure. See two details of it in my photos.
