Cann Viaduct

IMG_0683

Photograph taken along the Plym Valley trail (in vicinity of Cann Viaduct), part of the National Trust's Plymbridge Woods. Cann Viaduct (built 1907) formed part of the South Devon and Tavistock Railway. The line was closed to passengers in 1962, and closed to freight as part of the Beeching report. Although, it no longer takes rail traffic, the viaduct can be accessed by cyclists and pedestrians.
