Concentration
I was asked to come along and photograph the first year celebration for the Silent Book, Plymouth (UK) chapter. I don’t really photograph events like this, being more of a landscape photographer but when I do I really enjoy capturing the “moment”. I prefer the subjects to be natural and not notice the camera in front of them. This way I find I get more “interesting” and unstaged / awkward shots of people.
Emma, here was colouring in some image that the organisers had placed on tables, there was a competition at the end of the afternoon for the best image. I really liked the concentration in her face.
