Making full use of the first full day of sunshine. I always explain to the public that they're like rechargeable batteries, emerging on one bar and desperate to get their charge up after a long and dangerous hibernation. Unfortunately many "wildlife" photographers think that its perfectly alright to continually harass them and drive them back under cover. It's a real problem in certain areas. Areas that I now tend to avoid. All snakes were photographed from a distance and left completely undisturbed. Adders are exceptionally accommodating. It really isn't that hard.
