Me & my great aunt, Carol ❤️
#waybackwednesday
I choose to share a few women on this platform, whom I saw battered repeatedly by the men in my family tree - mind, body and spirit, and were unfairly judged by the immoral, hypocritical women I grew up around. My great aunt, Carol, photographed here, was made fun of repeatedly and I always held compassion for her... when I was a little girl we watched Madonna's documentary together and yes, although inappropriate for my age, it was eye-opening and well done.
In the summer of 2023, as I was sifting through a box of childhood photos and mementos dropped off by relatives, my son asked me all about his family... he wanted stories. This is the primary reason I share family photos publically on this platform - so one day, he will see some of them and gain a deeper understanding (since I haven't been legally allowed contact with him for almost 19 months at this point nor do I know when I will see him again.). I also work on private projects to keep my spirits up and will never stop being me, creating legacy art and projects, despite numerous attempts to silence me. That's the unfortunate truth of being a woman in a man's world. I've learned the hard way, although the idea of me (strong, intelligent beautiful woman) is appealing, ultimately it doesn't serve the self-agenda of man.. there is zero incentive to let me fully be free and independent. (Case in point: look what happened to Marilyn Monroe.. yep.)
When my son is older and understands the full extent of what was done to me by a nasty collective --> an incredibly controlling network of people... I can guarantee you, he will stop at nothing to avenge his mother. In the meantime, I will be patient... God knows I have an incredible amount of patience. ❤️
