Upper Royal Basin in the Olympic Mountains

Hiked up to the Upper Royal Basin in Washington State to shoot this alpine lake. The clouds breaking over the mountains near Mount Deception during were the highlight of the trip.

 

This shot was taken at sunset as clouds rolled in and out of the basin. Not pictured were at least a billion mosquitoes.
