West Point Lighthouse at Discovery Park in front of Mount Rainier - © Andrew C. Williams
West Point Lighthouse sits on the Western-most tip of Discovery Park in Seattle's neighborhood of Magnolia.
The 23-foot tower marks the entrance into Elliott Bay.
It was built in 1881 as Puget Sound's first manned lighthouse and became the last in Washington State to fully automate in 1985, just 104 years later.
Photo taken from a moving vessel in Puget Sound.
Using zoom makes objects in the background (Like Mount Rainier in this image) appear far larger than they are in 'real' life. EXIF reads 350mm equivalent focal length.
