Validation of Research Report on Integrating Inclusivity in Criminal Justice Administration and Reform in Nigeria
by IDEA-NG
The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC II) Programme, building on the achievements of its predecessor and aligned with the EU Federal Republic of Nigeria Multi-Annual Indicative Programme (MIP) 2022–2027, is advancing justice sector and anti-corruption reforms in Nigeria, with a strong focus on gender-based violence prevention and human rights promotion. As part of its commitment to inclusivity, RoLAC commissioned comprehensive research to assess the status of women, children, and persons with disabilities within criminal justice reforms, benchmarked against the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) 2015 and global best practices. The findings of this research will be validated in a stakeholder meeting, where representatives from government ministries, security agencies, civil society, and community organizations will review the report, provide feedback, and develop actionable strategies to strengthen inclusivity across the justice system.
