by IDEA-NG
The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC II) programme has continued to deepen justice sector reforms in Plateau State with the commencement of a stakeholders’ workshop aimed at developing an action plan for the Justice Sector Reform Team (JSRT). At the opening session, the RoLAC State Coordinator, Pwanakei Dala emphasised on the team’s commitment to improving justice delivery, while the representative of the JSRT Chair, Hon. Justice G.D. Fwomyon noted that the state’s justice system is poised to become a model, citing the training of over 500 law enforcement officers on the Administration of Criminal Justice Law (ACJL) as a major milestone. He added that with continued support from RoLAC and government backing, the team is optimistic about scaling its reform efforts. Participants were urged to contribute actively to the action plan, which is expected to serve as a roadmap for further justice reforms in the state.
