Training Workshop on Self Defence Mechanisms and GBV Legal Framework

Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC), in collaboration with FIDA, organized a comprehensive training program on preventive measures, self-defense mechanisms, and legal frameworks in addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Kano state. The training featured expert-led sessions covering practical self-defense techniques and essential legal knowledge, equipping participants with the skills to prevent, report, and respond to GBV incidents. Additionally, the program facilitated the establishment of five community forums, ensuring that the training’s impact would extend beyond the immediate participants through "step-down" training and public advocacy within their communities.
