Capacity Building Workshop for Kano State Civil Service Directors on Anti-Corruption
by IDEA-NG
The Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC) Programme, in collaboration with the Office of the Kano State Head of Civil Service and International IDEA, organized a one-day capacity building workshop for Kano State Civil Service Directors on anti-corruption. The workshop aimed to strengthen the state’s anti-corruption efforts by building the capacity of civil service directors.
The workshop focused on increasing awareness of anti-corruption laws and procedures, improving internal control systems, and fostering a culture of integrity within the civil service. Participants were equipped with practical tools and knowledge to enhance accountability and prevent corrupt practices in the discharge of their duties.
The workshop proved to be an essential step in bolstering Kano State's capacity to combat corruption within the civil service, thereby contributing to a more transparent and accountable government. The RoLAC Programme remains committed to supporting similar initiatives to promote integrity and good governance across its focal states.
