As Oasis prepare to kick off their highly anticipated Manchester tour this weekend, Asda has cooked up a striking tribute: an over 2ft-wide larger-than-life lasagna in the likeness of Liam Gallagher. Unveiled at Asda’s Pilsworth café, the colossal creation pays homage to Digsy’s Dinner, the band’s cult classic that famously namechecks lasagna, strawberries, and cream. So popular are the lyrics in the song, that Liam Gallagher is often seen sharing just the word ‘lasanga’ on his social media channels, some with over 15million views.

Oasis will perform at Heaton Park, Manchester, from 11 to 20 July, making ASDA Pilsworth the perfect pre-show pit stop, while stock lasts.
