Fast and Furious: Over 30 local firefighters took part in a special practice session of the 2013 World Police and Fire Games sport ‘Ultimate Fire Fighter’ on Saturday. One of the more unusual WPFG sporting events, Ultimate Fire Fighter comprises four very tough and highly competitive tasks – hose task, weight and strength, obstacle course and high rise. The 2013 World Police and Fire Games take place from 1 -10 August next year and will attract 10,000 competitors and a further 15,000 visitors from over 70 countries to Belfast and a variety of locations throughout Northern Ireland.
