Clueless on a rainy day

The prompt for this art work was “why art” and for me, there’s two reasons I do art, one so that my ideas have a way of being physically seen, but also story telling. I enjoy making artwork with my characters to express their relationships and backgrounds. In this art work it’s two of my friends Lucas and Klevin playing in the rain as kids. It’s supposed to be a flashback prior to their main story to show that they’ve always been friends and always will be friends. The artwork is supposed to also show how you can still have fun during the bad (the rain in this case). They have a close bond together and I hope it’s portrayed through the art work. The title is clueless on a rainy day because since they’re children they’re inherently unaware of the hardships of the world and it seems like time stops only reflecting them when they are together.
