When Art Meets Function

If a car engine could be beautiful then this 1962 Aston Martin DB4's engine would have to be high on that list. And, it's external beauty is matched with what's inside under those polished twin cam covers. The engine, a 3.7 liter twin overhead cam inline 6, and was designed by Polish race driver, Tadek Marek. And with it's twin SU carburetors it produced a healthy 240hp and 240 lbs-ft torque @ 4200 rpm. The car was capable of 140mph, not too shabby by 1962 standards, or even by 2025 standards for that matter!
