Pump You Up (zoom in for the old pump details)

This was a working station in Virginia City, Montana, but the two red pumps were old, and not useable. The dollar's indicators only had three places which means $9.99 was the highest amount that would register. However, with the price per gallon for regular being .26, and high test being .29 per gallon respectively, it would amount to 35-38 gallons of gas for under $10 dollars! At that time, that would be more than enough to fill the tanks of just about any car or light truck! I also like the black tire air compressor units with the hand cranks to adjust the pressure desired. And each pound of pressure while filling your tire(s) would confirm each pound added with an audible ring...who remembers those?
