Postcard
My goal here was to create something that had a postcard look to it, and one maybe from the 1930's - 1950's. Now, imagine the Twilight Zone for a moment, and If you went back in time and you happened to be visiting the Bozeman area in that time period, maybe you found yourself in an old style drug store...you know, the type that had a counter fountain, and sold your favorite egg creams. And while there you amble over to the postcard stand to find a few to send back home. I wanted the look of an old postcard with a hand painted photo look to it, and I probably did a dozen iterations of this image before I finally got something that I could say I was happy with. So, after doing many filter layers in both Photoshop and Topaz, and at various opacity levels I wound up with this. The question is, do you think I accomplished it? Or, am I still in the Twilight Zone? Your thoughts... ?
