Offenhauser Powered Indy Race Car

You may have to zoom in to read the text. In short, the "Offy" motor now in this car is the same Offenhauser motor that was in the Blue Crown Special (above in b/w) that won Indy both in 1947 and again in 1948. Both times the car was driven by Mauri Rose.
