Hartside Cafe is on top of the pennine,s From Alston to Penrith road a very popular place for Hill Walkers ,Motor Bikers,Bicycle riders and others No HGVs Roads not suitable for them. Its1903 feet above sea level when you look oneway its the lake district and the other way its Co Durham you can see for miles a good place to stop very friendly. All comments wellcome
