I bought my D800 in 2012. It is an early release model. Although I've done a few paying jobs I'm mostly an amateur. So not bad for a camera not in constant professional use. I think the sensor still holds up to this day. Although, there are "better" cameras available, this one will do anything I want or need to do to this day. On a side note this camera has been my back up for the last several years. I prefer a smaller micro four thirds camera as my daily carry.
